IMPOWER filEOB

Scanning and storing EOB's is one thing, indexing them by patient and relating them to primary and secondary claims is another.

FilEOB extends the +Image component of IMPOWER by providing batch indexing of paper EOB's without keyboard input. A simple point-and-click method will convert a scanned account number into typed text using state-of-the-art Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Because we apply the OCR to just a small amount of data, that can be clearly defined as length and type, the accuracy is excellent.

And, for some practice management system products, we can index your claims to be used by AutoMatch, thereby allowing scanned EOB's to be automatically attached to secondary claims. You will easily make up for the time spent indexing scanned EOB's by not having to pull, photocopy, black out, and re-file the EOB's to attach them to the secondary claims.
